Influence Series

This particular series was created with taking stylistic inspiration from photographer, Cole Sprouse. He uses unique and low angled portraits with a wide angle lens. A lot of the work he creates he does so in an explorative manner. He finds a lot of interest in photographing in areas that are a form of trespassing. Sprouse also has a lot of movement conveyed in the way he places his models and will photograph them in mid-stride or clearly in the middle of some sort of physical movement.

These were all things taken into consideration while doing this shoot. A wider angle lens was used to get the deeper depth of field, showing not just the model, but showing the space she is occupying as part of the image. Utilizing a nearby abandoned building that had burned down as a replication of his trespassing interests. While also making the model pose through different movements and capturing those individual moments, gaining this sense of movement that Cole Sprouse so often conveys in his work.
